Basic precautions to be taken when working with CCA-treated wood are:

• Wear gloves and long sleeves when handling treated wood
• Saw, sand and machine CCA-treated wood outdoors
• After construction, all construction debris should be cleaned up and disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
